The studio has begun developing a gender-flipped remake of Ron Howard’s 1984 rom-com Splash<\/em> that will see the Magic Mike<\/em> star taking on Daryl Hannah’s iconic role and Workaholics<\/em> actress Jillian Bell stepping into Tom Hanks’ shoes. The duo previously worked together on 22 Jump Street<\/em>.<\/p>\n Howard will produce under his Imagine Entertainment banner along with Brian Grazer, while Tatum will also produce with his Free Association partners Reid Carolin and Peter Kiernan.
