When the gods of Pok\u00e9mon Go decide that a certain location is a Pok\u00e9mon Go gym, whoever owns the property can either fight it or embrace it<\/p>\n

The Colonie Center mall in Albany, which is a Pok\u00e9mon Go gym, has decided to make the best of it. As seen on Reddit<\/a>, the mall built a real life Pok\u00e9mon Go arena for players.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With little more than a large Pok\u00e9 Ball on the floor, a few cardboard posters and team flags posted overhead, the “gym” is little more than a marketing gimmick. But it’s a smart one. There’s bound to be plenty of Pok\u00e9mon Go players there at any time (as proven by this Imgur gallery<\/a> of the same spot), so offering these customers something extra is likely a good idea<\/p>\n

The mall is also organizing Pok\u00e9mon Go events and giveaways, boasting<\/a> “3 on-site Pokestops and plenty of Pok\u00e9mon loose throughout the center.” Read more…<\/a><\/p>\n
