Armed militants took over the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters in Burns, Oregon on Saturday after a protest in defense of two ranchers about to be jailed for arson<\/p>\n

The protest featured singing and flower-planting, but a group of what journalists say is about 15<\/a> people broke off from a larger group of about 300 to take over the building, which was unoccupied due to the holiday weekend.<\/p>\n
