Last week, we told you about some of the new technology Samsung plans<\/a> to reveal at CES<\/a> this week, including the hand-based virtual reality controllers called Rink<\/p>\n

Now video of that VR accessory in use has surfaced on Samsung’s YouTube Korea account<\/p>\n

The brief video shows two hands floating in virtual space manipulating a lab environment, similar to Tony Stark’s (Iron Man<\/a>) tech lair. Later, we see the controllers used to shoot down virtual planes and select images from a VR photo album<\/p>\n

Although the Samsung Gear VR<\/a> is still relatively new to most consumers, the addition of a hand-based VR interface in the Rink could (if it works as shown) go very far in speeding adoption of the little brother to the more expensive Oculus Rift. Read more…<\/a><\/p>\n
