Tim Peake has been busy up at the International Space Station. If he hasn’t been practising his backward rolls, he’s been accidentally calling random people on Earth<\/a> or tweeting at Elton John<\/a> \u2014 and occasionally getting some science done<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, following a special message<\/a> from Her Majesty wishing the British astronaut a productive mission and safe return, Peake has replied.<\/p>\n

He kept things pretty formal and respectful during the minute-long message: “I’m not sure this has ever been said in space before, so I’ll be the first. God save the Queen.”<\/p>\n
