Yesterday I attended an online workshop delivered by the expert himself, Prof. Smith, organised by The Qualitative Report (TQR), Nova Southeastern University. It was 11:00AM-6:00PM US Eastern Time, so practically I had to stay up the whole evening until the wee hours of the next morning (started at 11:00PM locally and ended 6:00AM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a nutshell, it was a comprehensive workshop during which Prof. Smith covered the fundamentals of phenomenology and the essentials of IPA. Good news for us the qualitative researchers is that Prof. Smith’s second edition of IPA book will be published soon. Something that I really look forward to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
