Assalamualaikumm and Good Morning dear readers. <\/p>\n

This year’s 3MT Competition was held on 22nd March, 2018. 21 students from various programs took part in this yearly event. I was appointed as one of the juries, along with Dr Ain Hussein from Faculty of Science, Dr Abdul Halim Abdullah and also Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeo Kee Jiar. <\/p>\n

I am so proud to announce that the three winners of this year’s 3MT event are students from Educational Technology program. They are:<\/p>\n

1st Place: Kew Si Na<\/p>\n

2nd Place: Noor Hidayah Che Lah<\/p>\n

3rd Place: Siti Khadijah Mohamad<\/p>\n

Well done to all winners and congratulations to all participants who have had their  courage to take part in this competition.<\/p>\n

There are some points that I would like to highlights and it is based on concluding remarks delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeo.<\/p>\n

  1. Make sure you are well-prepared. Practice a lot. You may stumble during the presentation if you are ‘not that ready’<\/li>\n
  2. Make sure your slide is informative. Do not put a plain graphic, instead provide captions to support that particular graphic.<\/li>\n
  3. Double check the content of your script with your supervisor.<\/li>\n
  4. Make sure the script has been proofread by someone. <\/li>\n
  5. Engage with the audience. Make an eye contact with your audience. <\/li>\n
  6. Manage your time well. Make sure it can be delivered within 3 minutes. But not too short.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
