28 August 2024 | Concorde V, Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur – The Pre-Conference Workshop on Nanocosmeceutical was successfully held as part of the 6th International Conference on Biosciences and Medical Engineering (ICBME2024). Organized by the Institute of Bioproduct Development (IBD) and the Centre of Sustainable Nanomaterials (CS Nano), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), the workshop featured seven expert speakers specializing in the fields of nanotechnology and cosmeceuticals.
The event attracted 55 participants from local and international universities, industries, and government agencies, providing a valuable platform for engagement and collaboration. The workshop facilitated in-depth discussions and knowledge exchange, fostering partnerships between academia, industry professionals, and government representatives.
With the increasing importance of nanotechnology in the cosmeceutical industry, this workshop highlighted innovative approaches and solutions that bridge the gap between research and practical applications, contributing to advancements in sustainable product development.
The Pre-Conference Workshop on Nanocosmeceutical served as an important precursor to the main ICBME2024 conference, setting the stage for further exploration of cutting-edge biosciences and medical engineering topics.
