Kesum-Silver Antibacterial Spray is an innovative fabric-care solution developed from advanced green nanotechnology research at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Formulated using silver nanoparticles (AgNP) biosynthesized from Persicaria odorata (kesum) leaf extract, this spray offers a safe, eco-friendly, and effective way to protect fabrics from microbial contamination.
The natural phytochemical compounds in kesum act as reducing and stabilizing agents, producing highly active silver nanoparticles with strong antibacterial properties .
