Personal Philosophy

In the name of Allah SWT, the Almighty. My teaching philosophy is based on the words from our creator Allah SWT the Almighty – The Al-Quran. I truly believe that humankind in this earth always need to be taught to gain any knowledge whether the religious (Ukhrawi) or other (Duniawi) knowledge. The knowledge that we gain is to ensure the betterment of our life since we are selected by Allah to become leader (Khalifah) in this world. That is the reason why Allah SWT has given the important word related to the knowledge to our prophet Muhammad Rasulullah SAW which was “Iqra” (Read) and the rest words are stated in the surah Al-Alaq explained the importance of the knowledge to the humankind.

Therefore, because of the crucially importance of the knowledge to the humankind in this world, a great teaching practices is very important to be applied and I believe that, teaching is not just only deliver and convey the knowledge to the students but also involve integration to many things including self-attitude, enthusiasm, objectives, career, passion, technologies, patience etc. My teaching philosophy integration involves these terms: (1) Ibadah which includes sincere, patience, doa, amanah and responsibilities, (2) Attitude which involve discipline, open-minded, hardwork, focus, proactive, confident, avoid procrastination and flexible, (3) Motivation which includes persistence, determination, future direction, success, smart, positive, opportunities and perseverance, (4) Orientation towards students, faculty, university, national and ummah, (5) Competence and (6) Technologies involving media social, blended learning and computer.
