Kebiasaannya, zeolit diperolehi dalam bentuk serbuk halus dan kita hanya boleh melihat bentuk kristal zeolit tersebut dengan menggunakan mikroskop yang berkualiti tinggi. Dengan sebab itulah, antara mikroskop yang biasa digunakan untuk melihat morfologi sampel zeolit yang berkeadaan serbuk halus ialah Mikroskop imbasan Elektron atau \u201cScanning Electron Microscope (SEM)\u201d. SEM menggunakan kaedah penembakan sampel menggunakan elektron. Rajah-rajah berikut adalah contoh beberapa morfologi zeolit yang diambil daripad zeolit sintetik dan juga zeolit semulajadi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a center\">Morfologi bagi zeolit semulajadi kabazit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Daripada gambar morfologi yang diberikan, dapat diperhatikan zeolit adalah berbentuk kristal terutamanya gambar bagi zeolit sintetik. Zeolit sintetik menunjukkan kekristalan yang tinggi berbanding zeolit semulajadi kerana parameter sewaktu proses sintesis dapat dikawal seperti suhu, masa dan juga bahan mentah dalam proses mensintesis zeolit tersebut. Gambar ini juga menunjukkan partikel-partikel zeolit sintetik lebih sekata (homogenus) berbanding partikel zeolit semulajadi (heterogenus). Walaupun terdapat perbezaan antara morfologi bagi zeolit sintetik dan semujadi, mereka adalah zeolit kerana pengenalpastian zeolit hanya boleh ditentukan dengan menggunakan XRD. Daripada gambar yag diberikan juga, saiz partikel sesuatu zeolit dapat diukur. Dalam hal ini, saiz partikel bagi zeolit A dan X adalah sekata sekitar 1 hingga 3 \u03bcm.
