HRH Tunku Mahkota Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Regent of Johor inspected the forest fire in Kampung Pekajang, Jalan Tanjung Kupang, Iskandar Puteri on 26 August 2019.
HRH Regent of Johor was briefed on the latest development of fire fighting efforts by Johor Fire and Rescue Department director Datuk Yahaya Madis. The Regent of Johor also visited SMK Tanjung Adang, which is located close to the area on fire and decreed that the school be temporarily closed for the sake of students’ health.
The forest fire had spread to 98 hectares of land due to the hot and dry season affecting the state. Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
