The 3rd year group will study and propose a public or community-oriented architectural development in the suburban area of Kluang, Johor. Students will study the context of the site, its history and reflect on the socio-economic and environmental realities of the site in order to respond and produce the design brief for the selected site.
This course is integrated with SBEA3623 CAD & BIM and SBEA3853 Architectural Heritage and Conservation course respectively, therefore students to apply the knowledge and skills learned into the design studio.

AFINA AMIR: KLUANG ART AND CULTURAL CENTRE is a community centre as a connection point for the multi-racial communities through a cultural approach and to introduce local culture to the community.
RIZZIQ MUHAMMAD JIHAD: THE MEETING SPOT is a social hub that brings people together, attracting residents and tourists alike.
AMMAR BIN MOHAMAD RIZA: KLUANG META-4 aims to create a training center for the local community to help them enhance their local culture and socio-economy that can be experienced on their hands by visitors and tourists.
ABBAS: KLUANG INTERLINK LEISURE HUB is about designing a tourism centre based on the understanding and learning that can be related to site analysis, architectonic, and design thinking.
RASIDAH ROBIN: KLUANG KIDZ-ONE CENTER enhancing the environment to provide a better place for children development in the community.
IMRAN KHAIRIL ASWAD: NATURART intends to preserve and enhance the eco factor of the site by involving users in private modern gardening. The design blends with nature itself and uses it as art.

VALERIE LIM XIAO TING: ARTE I KLUANG enhancing Fengshui elements; wood, earth, water, fire and metal.
YONG YI JIE: KEBUN KLUANG is a vertical harvest center in Kluang that serves as a space that will ease the hustle and the bustle of the city.
FIKRI ANDIQA: ESCAPE KELUANG CENTRE provides a particular space for the society to perform various recreational activities for all ages and become an attraction in Kluang.
ALYA RAFAIE: KULTURA D’KLUANG provides a hub to showcase local talents, creatives and increase their appreciation towards art and heritage.
HAJAR UMAIRAH: KLUANG RUBBER REALM aims to educate the visitors about the memoir, spirit and economy of Kluang rubber agriculture while enhancing social cohesion between tourists and surroundings.
