Ar. IDr. Ts. NORASLINDA BINTI ABDUL RAHMAN is a Malaysian architect who has been involved in the government and private sectors. Experienced in architecture involving schematic design, design development, contract documentation up to implementation and management.

She has earned an early education in the architecture field from Sekolah Menengah Vokasional Segamat in Civil Engineering and proceeded her Diploma of Architecture from Politeknik Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah. Architecture is her passion because she likes a combination of art and science. She continued her Part II in Degree of Architecture at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and has passed the Part III Professional Exam conducted by the Board of Architects Malaysia. The deep intensity of her desire in the world of architecture continues in her Master of Science (Tourism Planning) and currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) studies.  

Experience is the most valuable thing that brings her to the current level, she has gained experience in some of the country’s greatest firm including Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR), GDP Architects, ARCHIMATRIX, SA Architects, SK Tan Architect, Ooi & Associates Civil and Structural Engineer, Homelux Interior Finishing, DP Architect Singapore and others. She was involved with various types of projects such as commercial, housing, office, school, hospital, health clinics, community center, gallery and so on.

Now, she continues her career as a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Other than that, she currently serves as Director in the Center for the Study of Built Environments in The Malay World (KALAM), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. In addition, to strengthen her experience in the industry, she also runs a practice under the name NORASLINDA ARCHITECT as a Principal.
