Born in September ’85 in Kuala Kurau, Perak, Norazila has started her early school days at SK Matang Gerdu before advanced to SMK Sri Kurau, Perak.With 9A’s Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) result in hand, she further her higher learning in Diploma of Aeronautics Engineering at UTM Semarak, Kuala Lumpur and managed to graduate with First Class Honour. Her educational excellence journey continued in UTM Skudai with Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical-Aeronautical) which also awarded her with First Class Honour. In 2010, she had an opportunity to join the UTM’s Tutor Scheme program which requires her to obtain Master and Ph.D. Degree before she can be a full-fledged lecturer in UTM. Under supervision of an Indian nationals Professor, Prof. Dr. Subramaniam Krishnan, she had successfully completed her Master of Engineering (Mechanical) Degree with First Class Honour while bearing her first child with her. On September 2012, Norazila’s educational jihad continued when she had an opportunity to join the Tokyo Metropolitan Unversity’s scholarship program called Asian Human Resources Fund and opened the door to her PhD journey in Tokyo, Japan. Being a wife and a mother of three in foreign country really gives her a new definition of challenges and struggles before she can finally be awarded Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering by her Japanese supervisor, Associate Professor Masahiro Kanazaki in September 2016. Now, she’s a Senior Lecturer in FKM and served for Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
