After being exposed\u00a0to\u00a0various international meetings, conferences and training around the world \u00a0(Japan, Newcastle UK, Singapore) during my\u00a0Ph.D years, I\u00a0had realized the importants of global warming and extreme rainfalls particularly in regions near my\u00a0home-country, Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, my\u00a0current main\u00a0research interest now is on\u00a0research relating to\u00a0understanding and improving methods for\u00a0extreme rainfall analysis (frequency analysis, PMP, regional frequency analysis, etc.), extreme floods\u00a0\u00a0and\u00a0climate change particularly for the South East Asian region. My\u00a0main focus right now would be analysis on the Malaysian region.
