Nice to Meet You!
Hi, I’m Dr. Nor Hasanah—though my students and colleagues just call me Dr. Hasanah. I lead the Construction Materials Research Group at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where my team and I are on a mission to reimagine concrete. We take materials the industry considers waste and turn them into eco-friendly, high-performance construction solutions. It’s deeply rewarding work: combining rigorous science with real-world impact, mentoring the next generation of engineers, and knowing that every innovation brings us closer to a more sustainable built environment.
