Dear AI Intern Team,

You have been assigned to develop a computer interface (process simulator) for a reactor plant located at the new building. The objective of the process simulator is to give training to the operators regarding the plant behavior/performance in manual and auto modes. Your plant model and control objective should be based on the actual experiment that you have done before (either LEVEL or FLOW). You need to use the Simulink Matlab software to develop the process simulator and present to the management. Below are few points that you must deliver during team presentation (10 mins presentation + 5 min Q&A)

  • Simulink is successfully executed (10 points) (CLO5, PLO5, P4)
  • Explain and show the performance of reactor during manual mode (5 points) (CLO5, PLO5, P4)
  • Explain and show the performance of reactor during auto mode using conventional controller (servo and regulator problems) (10 points) (CLO5, PLO5, P4)
  • Design a robust and intelligent control strategy (advanced control) to be embedded with your plant model (simulator should be able to simulate) (25 points) (CLO5, PLO5, P6)
  • Group picture + Creativity in presenting your Simulink results (50 points)  (Presentation on 9th December)

** No report is required for this specific task, you will be assessed based on the above 4 points (i.e. able to explain the method/ technique, theory and etc related to you Simulink)
