ABOUT ME

I am a lecturer at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence. Before joining UTM, I gained valuable part-time experience at a government-linked university. I am proud to be part of UTM DNA, having earned my diploma, bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD from this institution. My academic training, combined with five years of experience in teaching, has shaped me into a passionate and dedicated educator.

I initially joined UTM as a contract lecturer and later secured a permanent position. Over the past six semesters, I have developed a strong commitment to fostering a positive and impactful learning environment.

As part of my professional development, I participated in the Baseline Competencies for Differentiated Career Pathway (BC4DCP) program, which provided me with essential skills aligned with UTM’s mission to develop holistic talents and drive innovation. My industrial experience as a design trainee at Modenas further enriched my practical knowledge and enhanced my understanding of real-world applications in my field.

Additionally, I had the privilege of attending a transformative training session led by Prof. Astuty Amrin, whose expertise in student-centered learning and innovative assessment strategies greatly influenced my teaching approach.

I prioritize student engagement by incorporating active learning strategies and fostering open communication through continuous feedback. I firmly believe that teaching with passion is key to creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment
