I see my self as a dedicated academician and a researcher with considerable experience in psychology with special interest in mental health, youths, adolescents, and families. I am now a senior lecturer at UTM where I remain useful to the academic society due to my journeys.
I believe that each person’s motivation and desire to be a better person at each stage of life makes them unique. That is why, the well-being of individuals and communities is important to me. I aiming to make a positive impact on society through education, research, and community engagement.

Know my behavior and motivation
In order to be a motivated leader in teaching, research, administration, and other areas, it is crucial for me as a lecturer to develop a plan to improve my behavior and well-being.
I am also enjoying in doing varieties of activities that resulting me become competitive in nature and desire to succeed. Beside I agree that when we are more understanding others and helping people it make our life better and will satisfied on it. Since my experience in my former working company, and outside my routine work, for gaining more knowledge, I have decided to take part in some community service, join the individual NGO where I would work with people and ensuring their health and safety, and keeping them entertained. My role will depend on my ability to have strong authority but also an approachable manner at all times and I am confident I can carry out the role with the utmost professionalism.
Know what I need to learn
As a lecturer who also serves as a mentor to the next generation and a potential national leader, one of my duties is to see to the needs of the students and provide them with all the assistance they need to succeed in university. This work demands compassion and persistence in addition to a readiness to support and encourage others. I’m confident that lecturing about psychology will always draw attention. Due to the increasing usage of online and in-person learning in this day and age, I therefore need to equip myself with a variety of teaching strategies, activities, and lesson plans to make learning in the classroom and online more engaging and relevant to the course objectives. In addition, I must learn everything I can to keep up with the rapid growth of technology and develop essential talents like effective interpersonal communication. But most importantly, I must establish a work-life balance.
I’m always reminded to set a positive example for others by my efforts and accomplishments because of my experience and passion in teaching.
- Being a mature individual, it’s important to promote a supportive environment by encouraging open communication and teamwork, making sure that everyone has the chance to contribute ideas to team projects and achieve their own professional goals. That is included in the umbrella of work ethics (Al-Taklif), which is accountable and duty-driven for Ummah.
