They are not subject to our\u00a0choice or preference, but they can be occasionally fudged\u2014with\u00a0uncomfortable consequences.\u00a0It is neither an accomplishment nor a fault to acknowledge that\u00a0some people can speak before large audiences and be exhilarated by\u00a0the experience while others would be petrified.
