Thailand, Aug 14 – I had the honor of being part of a research delegation organized by the Centre of Hydrogen Energy (CHE) at the Institute of Future Energy (IFE), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Alongside Prof. Dr. Aishah Abd Jalil, Director of CHE, we visited Chulalongkorn University (CU) and King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) to strengthen collaboration in the fields of hydrogen energy and carbon capture technologies.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to engage with key academics, including Prof. Soorathep Khewhom, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, and Assoc. Prof. Supareak Praserthdam, Director of the Centre of Excellence on Catalysis and Catalytic Reaction Engineering (CECC) at CU. Our discussions focused on potential partnerships for international research grants.

Additionally, we extended an invitation to Prof. Khewhom to be a keynote speaker at the International Conference on Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Technology (ICFCHT) 2025. It was a productive and enriching experience, and I look forward to the possibilities for future collaboration.
