Strategic Planning Workshop 2025 – A Step Towards MJIIT’s Future

As the Manager of Quality & Strategy at MJIIT, I had the privilege of organizing and leading the Strategic Planning Workshop 2025, held on 5 March 2025. This annual event served as a key platform for us to come together as a faculty to reflect, brainstorm, and align our strategic direction for the year ahead.

During the welcoming remarks,  I emphasized the importance of collaborative planning in driving MJIIT’s continuous growth and improvement. Our Dean, Assoc Prof Ir Dr Nurulakmar, then delivered the opening remarks, setting the tone for a productive and engaging day.

The first workshop session focused on brainstorming initiatives at the faculty level. It was encouraging to see active participation and creative input from all departments. In the second session, we worked on setting realistic targets and estimating the required resources to support those initiatives, ensuring that our plans were both ambitious and achievable.

After the lunch break, each group presented their Action Plans for 2025, outlining specific initiatives, timelines, and KPIs. The presentations reflected a strong alignment with our strategic goals and demonstrated the collective commitment of our staff to moving MJIIT forward.

The Q&A session that followed allowed for constructive feedback and insightful discussion, further refining our strategic direction. The workshop concluded successfully, with clear outcomes and a shared sense of purpose among participants.

Overall, I am proud of the efforts and enthusiasm shown by everyone involved. This workshop was not only a planning session—it was a reaffirmation of our shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
