About ME
I graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor Bahru with a first degree in Bioprocess Engineering in the year 2000 and obtained my PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2009. I am currently a senior lecturer serving Chemical Process Engineering Department at Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (https://mjiit.utm.my/), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur since 2012. You may visit my personal site to know more about me.
Teaching
I teach in the areas of chemical-process engineering at the undergraduate level. Among the courses that I have experienced to teach are Material Sciences, Physical Chemistry for Engineers, Statics, Structural Bioinformatics, Bioseparation, Bioprocess Laboratories, Environmental Microbiology & Biotechnology and Numerical Methods. Teaching brings me joy and satisfaction that I find very rewarding. Not only that i get different experiences everytime i step into my classes but most importantly i get to build beautiful bonds with my students which makes my classes more interesting and fun!
Supervision
Apart from teaching, I am also involved in supervising postgraduate students in both MPhil and PhD levels. My Research covers the areas of molecular simulation and structural bioinformatics with application mostly on enzymes. You may go to my Research Profiles or Publications for further information.
