BIOGRAPHY
I joined Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) as an academic staff since August 2006 after finishing my undergraduate study. I graduated with 1st class for B.Eng (Civil) from UTM, Skudai. I also hold M.Eng (Geotechnics) from UTM, Malaysia. I pursued my study on PhD level at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom on Mei 2009 and successfully completed on December 2012. As a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), I am keen to teach my student to develop an interest in research/industry demand led to teaching philosophy. This will make use of Problem Based Education (PBL) as to ensure that the student take part in the teaching activities and enjoy learning as part of the module. The core of my teaching responsibilities is Soil Mechanics. My research focused on soil improvement mainly on soft soil material using chemical additives. The research area covers the experimental work, particularly physical characterizations, strength behaviour and microstructure study. This is associated with my phD study (Effect of humic acid and chloride salts on the behaviour of lime-treated organic clay).
