Here\u2019s a glimpse into the impact I\u2019m working to create:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Engineering the Future of Diabetic Care:<\/strong> I\u2019m currently developing <strong>advanced nanofibrous dressings<\/strong> specifically designed for diabetic foot ulcers. By isolating and fabricating high-purity <strong>cellulose fibers from plant waste<\/strong>, I\u2019m proving that &#8220;waste-to-wealth&#8221; isn&#8217;t just a slogan\u2014it\u2019s a clinical solution. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Decoding Botanical Intelligence:<\/strong> It\u2019s one thing to say herbs heal; it\u2019s another to prove <em>how<\/em>. Dr. Siti Pauliena Mohd Bohari<\/strong> is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Biosciences, Faculty of Science, and an associate research fellow at the Nutraceutical and Food Unit at the Institute of Bioproduct Development, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). With a passion for natural product innovation, she explores the potential of local plants\u2014especially <em>Hibiscus sabdariffa<\/em> (roselle)\u2014to create sustainable and functional products for health and well-being. Her research spans nutraceuticals, wound care, and eco-friendly formulations that combine scientific rigor with community impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond the lab, Dr. Siti Pauliena enjoys transforming her research into real-world applications, from developing roselle-based food and skincare innovations to mentoring students in creative, hands-on science.
