RAIMI DEWAN<\/strong> received his Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Telecommunication engineering, Master Degree (Electrical) and Ph.D. (Electrical Engineering) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), in 2010, 2013, and 2019, respectively. His research area is in the Wireless Communication Engineering, RF and Microwave field. He is currently a senior lecturer at the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Prior joining UTM, he was a UHF RFID Product Coordinator at HID Global. From 2019 to 2020, He joined the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications of Rennes, University of Rennes 1, France as a Research Engineer Cum Postdoctoral Researcher. He was actively working with Naval Group (the Project Lead) and Seribase for the confidential industrial projects under the Ministry of Arms (DGA) France. In 2018, he was a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with Keysight Technologies. He was also an RF Design Engineer I with Smartrac Technology.

He also serves as the active Reviewer for various International journals, including (but not limited to) IEEE ACCESS, IEEE MWCL, IEEE AWPL, IEEE Journal of Radio Frequency Identification, Progress in Electromagnetic Research, the International Journal of Electronics and Communications, Elsevier-Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Plasmonics by Springer, Wireless Personal Communications, IET Electronic Letters, IET Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation, and the International Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering. He has published more than 80 articles related in international journals, conferences and book chapters.

He is a registered graduate engineer with Board of Engineer (BEM) Malaysia, professional technologist with MBOT – Malaysia Board of Technologists, a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society, IEEE Council on RFID and IEEE Young Professionals.

He is currently main-supervising 3 PhD students, 1 Master-by-Project, and 2 FYP students while co-supervising another 1 PhD student and 1 Master-by-Research student. 2 Master-By-Project and 3 FYP students has graduated under his supervision.
