My field of interest is in Geotechnical Engineering emphasis on Foundation Engineering , Geotechnical Modelling and Ground Improvement related with soft soil. Currently my research activities deals with the study on the behaviour of foundation embedded in sand, ground improvement in soft soil area and ground reinforcement system. Apart from that I am also interested in looking into the state-of-the art of Geotechnical Modelling via Centrifugal Techniques. Currently I am also actively involved in Forensic Geotechnical Engineering and has been a Geotechnical Specialist Advisor to several government agencies such as Petronas Dagangan Bhd. , Shell Trading(M) Bhd. , Geotechnical Specialist Unit to Public Work Department of Malaysia and other private agencies. I am also a Geotechnic Technical Committee for Eurocode 7 Malaysia Annex. Apart from involving in Geotechnical Area, I am also involved in many Civil Forensic works including Structural and Infrastructures.
