If get student attention, 50% of work is done already. Mean that the attention is important.
Learning to outcome:explain management is important. Identify & strategy misconduct in classroom (late to classroom).
Keep student organised, focus, orderly, attentive, on task, academically productive.
Set some expectation like routine or rule in the beginning of semester. Need to be 2 ways.
Summaries at the end of class. Pick someone in every class. Make it to routine.
Bonus : Use the data from the classroom into research article.
Classroom Component:
- Need to have philosophy. How you conduct your teaching
- Arrangement also important. For lecturer and group activity is different.
- Set rules at beginning of semester. Show in e-Learning.
- Establish good repo. Don’t make student hate the class. Be friendly, smile. First lesson dont teach too much, communicate with student. Know their birthday (need to be all student). Need to have different hat (friendly and teacher).
- Student dont said anything, whatever you set roule, they will not say anything. So, use survey (google form).
- Rote discipline: if wrong, repeat the correct answer multiple time.

Need to have plan B. Like no electricity. Plan option. Use e-Learning.
Some active, some passive students. Pick passive to speak. Dont use volunteer. Need to know body language. Pick someone that can contribute, if they dont have anything to say, they will be discourage.
If 1 student taking control. Say “that a good point. Let hear form other people”.
If the student do other thing. “What you doing at the back, let me know what is so important”.
Undermining instructor’s authority: student not agree with the scheme.
If poor hygiene, tell in person, 1 on 1.
Lack of classroom participant: focus on 1 person to summaries the learning.
Plagiarism problem.
