Background
- Energy limiter is a device that cut off electrical supply when the energy exceed certain level and reconnect back after certain time.
- It is useful in controlling the energy usage especially the limited energy supply like a PV panel.
Problem Statement
- Energy limiter available in Malaysia is low in rating.
Objectives
- Test the accuracy of the energy limiter.
- Test the ability of the device to a high start-up motor current.
- Improve the rating of the device.
