Problem Statement

• Smart meter is expensive
• If the traditional meter is replaced, this meter will become waste.

Objectives

• To create an interface device to allow connection between the traditional meter and IoT device, which convert the traditional meter to smart meter.
• To create a cost effective smart meter without producing a high number of waste.

Scope

• The traditional meter cannot be tampered to prevent warranty void.
• The meters tested are used by the TNB.
