The connection of each component is analyzed and the position of the component on the display board is determined. The system has 3 input sources, which are the PV, wind turbine (PMSM), and the diesel generator (DG). One of the PV and PMSM is connected to the PV/Wind/Battery controller. Another PMSM is rectify and connected to a separate but similar controller. Another PV and the DG is connected to Solar Inverter. All of these power converters are then connected to DC bus. The DC bus is connected to a DC selection board to determine whether to charge battery or battery+ultracapacitor (UC). There are also 3 DC load for the experiment. The solar inverter also produce AC output, which is then connected to standard power socket. Dump load is added to protect the system if the battery is full.
