Malaysia has various renewable energy (RE) sources which can be harnessed such as solar, wind, biomass, hydro, geothermal and tidal wave. In line with the Paris Agreement and commitment to enhance penetration of RES, the Malaysian government is seeking to intensify the RE landscape via new policies and regulations to boost participation from both public and private sector.
