About Me

Ts. Dr. Muhammad Safwan Abd Aziz received his B.Sc (Pure Physics) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2010. He was awarded a PhD degree (Fast Track Program) in Physics (Advanced Photonics) in 2013. He pursued his post-doctoral training in the field of photonics at Advanced Photonics Science Institute, Nanotech Research Alliance NRA. Currently, he is a senior lecturer at Faculty of Science, UTM. He is also a fellow researcher at Laser Center, Ibnu Sina Institute for Scientific & Industrial Research (ISI-SIR, UTM). He has more than 5 years of teaching experience and his research works have been supported by multiples funding from government and international agencies. He is currently supervising 4 doctoral and 8 master’s students. He has authored and co-authored more than 70 research articles, 2 books and 2 book chapters in the field of Science and Technology.
