Dr. Saiful Izwan bin Dato’ Abd Razak is a Senior Lecturer at School of Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences, Faculty of Engineering, University Teknologi Malaysia. Affiliated with Centre for Advanced Composite Materials (CACM) and Bioinspired Device and Tissue Engineering Research Group.  Dr Saiful Izwan is also the head of Polymeric Biomaterials Research Lab and 3D Biofabrication Research lab.

His research interest includes tissue engineering, polymer composites, conductive composites, natural fibre, modifications, nanomaterials, biomaterials, nanotechnology, cardiac repair, 3D biofabrication, tissue scaffold, lignocellulosic materials, implants and advanced materials.
