Dr. Shuhada Atika Idrus Saidi currently holds the position as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She earned her Bachelor’s degree with honors in Chemical Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University, Melbourne, Australia, in 2018. Subsequently, she obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia, in 2022.
Dr. Shuhada’s research pursuits revolve around a comprehensive spectrum of themes within the domain of chemical engineering. Her primary focus lies in the fundamental and applied sciences of low-melting-temperature metals and alloys, known as liquid metals. Her research leverages the unique attributes of liquid metals, consolidating a multidisciplinary approach that integrates principles from materials science, chemical engineering, catalysis, and nanotechnology. This integrative methodology empowers her to explore groundbreaking prospects that arise from the utilization of this distinct material class. Moreover, in addition to her pioneering work with liquid metals, Dr. Shuhada’s research domain extends to encompass separation technologies.
