Biography

Dr. Siti Sarah is a senior lecturer at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She graduated with a degree in Industrial Physics from the University Teknologi Malaysia in 2007. After graduating, she worked as a Research Officer at UTM Space for a couple of months. Then she continued to study for Master of Applied at University MalayaWhile studying in master, and she joined UTM in August 2008. After completing the master’s study, she continued her studies at the University of Malaya for her Ph. D in a complex dusty plasma system in 2010. She finally finished her research in 2018. At the University of Malaya, she developed an interest in plasma technology and fluctuation analysis using a fractal model. To characterize the fluctuation time series, she used the wavelet technique. She has always believed that her postgraduate journey provided her with one of the best training ground to become an effective physicist and academician.
