Banana Cake with Salted Caramel Topping

2 cups plain flour

1 tsp bicarb

1/2 tsp salt

110g butter (8 tbsp)

1 cup caster sugar

2 eggs

4 pisang masak ranum lenyek kan

1/3 cup buttermilk * resepi buttermilk homemade rujuk resepi Red Velvet Cake

1 tsp vanilla extract

 

Pukul sebati butter & sugar.

Masukkan telur, pisang, buttermilk, & vanilla.

Kacau sebati.

Masukkan flour, bicarb & salt.

akar dlm preheated 180 celcius oven for around 1 hour.

Bergantung pd oven masing2.

Jgn over bake kalau nk kek lembut dia mcm jiggle2 sikit in d middle.

 

*Topping – Cream Cheese & Salted caramel

 

Salted Caramel

1 cup granulated sugar

6 tbsp unsalted butter

1/2 cup double cream

Garam

 

Dlm saucepan kering, masukkan gula.

Kacau sampai cair & brown. Brown tau.bukan hangit.kehkeh..

Once dah cair, terus masukkan butter.kacau lg smpai butter cair.

Masukkan cream pula.

Kacau biar didih seminit.

Angkat dr api..masukkan dlm sesudu garam.

 

* Boleh simpan dlm jar letak dlm fridge. Enak bersama ice cream, pancake dan lain2 hihi
