Application and enrolment are open now to BRIN researcher who would like to further study remotely with UTM for Cohort 2, Intake 2023.

What potential student needs to do?<\/p>\n

    \n

  1. Potential student identifies suitable supervisor at UTM and co-supervisor from BRIN based on the chosen research area to study PG program at UTM remotely under ‘UTM-BRIN Collaborative Research Based Postgraduate Program\u2019.<\/li>\n

  2. Potential student applies to UTM PG program with Research Proposal (refer template mentioning proposed main supervisor from UTM and co-supervisor from BRIN) athttps:\/\/admission.utm.my\/apply-now\/<\/a>
    (Candidate for UTM-BRIN collaborative program is exempted from minimum English requirements during application but must complete it within a year upon registration)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. Upon receiving offer letter from UTM, potential student informs the UTM main supervisor.<\/li>\n

    2. SV UTM will submit offer letter, research proposal, UTM supervisor’s CV & co-SV BRIN CV to UTM-BRIN Secretariat before 31 March 2023.<\/li>\n

    3. Program Information:
      \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0a. ‘UTM-BRIN Collaborative Research Based Postgraduate Program\u2019
      \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0b. Collaborative remote supervision: Main SV from UTM and co-SV has to be
      \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0BRIN researcher with PhD holder.
      \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0c. Project must be in line with BRIN research direction, please visit
      \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0      https:\/\/www.brin.go.id\/<\/a>
      \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0d. Research student will be based at BRIN Research Institute.
      \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0e. Cover Tuition Fee (3 years for PhD and 2 years for Master), mobility to UTM (hostel accommodation maximum up to 6 months and return airfares once a year), EMGS Fee & UTM Enrolment Fee.
