Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA) Position (2023 – 2025)

I am looking for local highly motivated students to pursue a Master’s by research program at the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). The research will be related to developing new mathematical optimization algorithms in image/data processing. The student must be mathematically inclined or willing to learn new mathematical concepts related to mathematical optimization. Here are some more detailed requirements

FUNDING: Monthly allowance of two (2) years by the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) expected from 1st October 2023 to 30 September 2025.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related mathematical sciences with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
LANGUAGE: Must be proficient in English both verbal and written.
ATTITUDE: Self-motivated and willing to learn new mathematical concepts related to the research.
COMPUTATIONAL SKILLS: Familiar programming with MATLAB or Python.
