Dr. Yusliza Binti Yusoff is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Computing, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and an active member of the Applied Industrial Analytics Research Group as well as an former Associate Fellow of the UTM Big Data Centre (BDC). Her research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, data science, image steganography, and educational technology, focusing on developing intelligent digital systems that integrate deep learning, optimization, and secure data processing.
She has led and participated in numerous national and international research grants, including projects on hybrid neural DSC–LSTM models for Malaysian Sign Language recognition, image steganography algorithms for secure medical data transmission, and many more.
Dr. Yusliza has authored over 60 scholarly publications, including papers in high-impact Web of Science (Q1–Q2) and Scopus-indexed journals such as Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Access, and Artificial Intelligence Review. Her research contributions emphasize methodological rigor, innovation, and societal relevance, particularly in advancing AI applications for education, healthcare, and data security.
Beyond research, she contributes to academic quality assurance as a UTM Certified Program Accreditation Auditor and serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several indexed journals. Her multidisciplinary expertise reflects a commitment to bridging technology, learning, and human impact.
