Muhammad Yusof Mohd Noor, is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, focusing on optical fiber sensors using different optical fiber technologies (standard & specialty optical fiber). His current research includes developing fiber sensing techniques, their engineering applications, and integrating AI into fiber sensing
