Besides IGFS there is another international symposium organized by IAG – GGHS. GGHS stands for Gravity, Geoid and Height Systems is the activity of Commision 2 of IAG. The first GGHS was held on Oct 9 -12, 2012 in Venice. It was hosted by Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS). The proceedings of the 1st GGHS was published by Springer as IAG Symposia Vol 141.
