As we know, after the fall of Rome Justinian closed Plato’s Academy and the Lyceum of Aristotle in AD 520. The majority of the most important texts of Greek philosophy therefore became unavailable.

Plato’s Academy kita sudah boleh mengagak ianya ruang bangunan di mana Plato memberi kuliah. Pada zaman mereka kampus universiti belum wujud maka tempat untuk mengajar dan belajar ialah Academy dan Lyceum.

Lokasi di mana letaknya Lyceum of Aristotle di Athens kini telah ditemui oleh ahli arkeologi Greek pada 1996.
