GWG Team-2 meeting was held at BUG Meeting Room. The meeting starts at 9.30am and finished after about two hours. Focus of the meeting was to discussed on preliminary results of Sarawak Precise Levelling network.

Satu lawatan telah dibuat ke Jupem Johor bersama pelajar 1 Sghu sesi 2018/19. Lawatan ini merupakan program tahunan untuk memberi pendedahan kepada pelajar baru Kej Geomatik. Pihak Jupem telah menyediakan aturcara lawatan meliputi sesi penerangan peranan Jupem dalam ukur dan pemetaan negara. Selepas sesi penerangan pelajar di bawa meninjau operasi yang berjalan di semua seksyen yang terdapat di Jupem JB.

Sebuah tesis PhD berkaitan geoid modelling telah diselesaikan di Tallinn Technical University. Tesis ditulis oleh Silja Mardla dengan tajuk “Regional Geoid Modelling by the Least Squares Modified Hotine Formula Using Gridded Gravity Disturbances”. Tesis diselia oleh Prof Artu Ellmann dan turut menjadi pemeriksa ialah Prof Sjoberg dari KTH. Menariknya Silja Mardla adalah anak kepada Presiden Estonia (ibu beliau ialah Presiden Estonia).
