Johor Bahru, 14 November 2011: UTM Vice-Chancellor Professor Dato’ Ir. Dr. Zaini Ujang received an award from the Iskandar Malaysia as an appreciation and recognition of his contributions in the development of the corridor in the southern region.
The award was presented to more than 20 individuals in a special ceremony held at Thistle Hotel, Johor Bahru after five years of the establishment of the Iskandar Malaysia.
Two other recipients were the Director of Iskandar Malaysia Research Center (IMREC) Professor Dr. Khalid Ghani and Director of Alumni Dr. Othman Ibrahim.
The event also was attended by the Chief Executive Officer Iskandar Malaysia, Ismail Ibrahim.
