Happy to share on our on-going collaboration with MPOB’s Biomass Technology Unit which was started in 2014. Focus of study on pyrolysis (slow & microwave) of oil palm biomass notably PKS and Palm Fibre where the collected pyroligneous acid was evaluated on its effectiveness both in health and agricultural applications. To date, 2 Ph.D (Khoirun Nisa & Fatimatul Zaharah), 2 M.Phil students (Suzami Junaidah & Seri Elyanie) and 1 RO (Maizatulakmal) are directly involved in this work.
