Previously researchers are rank based on how many impact factor journals they have. However, recently, a more superior measure was used which is the h-index.<\/p>\n
So, what is h-index?<\/p>\n
H-index<\/span> is an index<\/span> that attempts to<\/span> measure both the<\/span> productivity and<\/span> citation<\/span> body of work<\/span> published in the<\/span> scientific and<\/span> akateemisia.Indeksi<\/span> based on the number<\/span> most cited<\/span> scientific articles and<\/span> the number of citations<\/span> received<\/span> in other publications.<\/span> The index<\/span> can be applied to<\/span> the productivity and<\/span> effectiveness of the<\/span> academic journal<\/span> and<\/span> a group of scientists<\/span>, such as<\/span> department or university<\/span> or country.<\/span> The<\/span> index<\/span> was proposed<\/span> in 2005<\/span> by Jorge<\/span> E.<\/span> Hirsch,<\/span> a physicist<\/span> at UCSD<\/span>, as a means to<\/span> determine the relative<\/span> quality of<\/span> a theoretical physicist<\/span> “<\/span>,\u00a0 and<\/span> is<\/span> sometimes called the<\/span> Hirsch<\/span> Hirsch<\/span> index<\/span> or number.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The index is based on the distribution of citations<\/a> received by a given researcher’s publications.
