Solar<\/span> energy<\/span> comes from<\/span> the sun<\/span> as<\/span> fuel<\/span> to create<\/span> heat<\/span> or electricity<\/span>. Solar technology<\/span> fall<\/span> into two categories<\/span>: passive and<\/span> active<\/span>. Passive<\/span> solar<\/span> heat generation<\/span> and provide<\/span> exposure to<\/span> the structure<\/span>. Active<\/span> solar<\/span> energy<\/span> to produce<\/span> electricity<\/span> using a<\/span> technology<\/span> called the Solar<\/span> Photovoltaic<\/span> (<\/span>PV), or heat<\/span>, hot water or<\/span> electric technology<\/span> called<\/span> Solar<\/span> Thermal<\/span>.

\nSolar<\/span> energy<\/span> is considered<\/span> environmentally<\/span> friendly because<\/span> the sun is a<\/span> natural source<\/span> of energy<\/span> that does not require<\/span> the burning of<\/span> fossil fuels<\/span> and<\/span> emissions<\/span> associated<\/span> online<\/span>. In addition<\/span>, because<\/span> it is considered a<\/span> renewable<\/span> energy generated<\/span> from the sun<\/span> does not reduce<\/span> any<\/span> of the natural resources<\/span>,<\/span> and endless<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>Solar<\/span> energy<\/span>, however<\/span>,<\/span> is called<\/span> intermittent<\/span> source<\/span>, which means that it<\/span> is not always<\/span> there<\/span>.
