Workshop 1: Learning AI tools in ODL development"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"150\" data-end=\"451\">I recently had the privilege of attending the <strong data-start=\"196\" data-end=\"209\">NALI 2025<\/strong> workshop entitled <em data-start=\"228\" data-end=\"271\">\u201cSIM Development for ODL Using AI Tools.\u201d<\/em> The session provided valuable insights into the integration of <strong data-start=\"335\" data-end=\"362\">artificial intelligence<\/strong> in designing and developing course materials for <strong data-start=\"412\" data-end=\"448\">Open and Distance Learning (ODL)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"453\" data-end=\"588\">The workshop highlighted the use of various <strong data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"513\">AI platforms<\/strong>\u2014including ChatGPT, Gemini, CoPilot, and Whisk\u2014which enable educators to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"824\">\n<li data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"648\">\n<p data-start=\"591\" data-end=\"648\">Systematically design and structure ODL course content.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"732\">\n<p data-start=\"651\" data-end=\"732\">Develop more effective and impactful prompts to enhance instructional delivery.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"824\">\n<p data-start=\"735\" data-end=\"824\">Facilitate the creation of dynamic, interactive, and high-quality ODL learning modules.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"826\" data-end=\"988\">This initiative represents an important step towards advancing innovation in teaching
